I love New Yoooork...

Back home again, FINALLY. I/we have been travelling so much that Ella things she is SUPPOSED to sleep with me. Good times. GACK. Anyway, we are HOME - for now.. hehe and happy to be! Nothing much going on. I am subjecting Eva to bathing with Ella. So far so good, then again... Eva cant steal Ella's things! No, I think they are going to just fine together. Ella is really a great kid. Although a few times this week we saw some severe glimpses of Terrible Twos... I think she is just normal and age appropriate. When they don't sleep, they go nuts. I love these gals though!!

Rub a dub dub... the O'Hanlon gals in the tub!
Eva looooves the bath!!!

On Friday Pat did the John Hannon Memorial 5K run. It was my first year getting to see it. We got some nice sweatshirts this year. I think its because it's the last year they will do it in honor of Hannon. Last year Pat ran with Ella, but went alone this year. I didn't even think to get a pic of him running, so here he is at the end. There were sooo many firemen there. No wonder they have groupies - LOL. I am only a groupie to one though... xoxo Paddy O!

Saturday we didn't do much. Pat's cousin Pauric and his wife Majella are here from Ireland. They have THE cutest little boy, Fionn. This kid is constantly laughing! Priceless. Pat had to pick them up from the airport and all that jazz, so we didn't spend much time with them.

Sunday, (today) Pat did the Tunnel To Towers Run, over the Brooklyn Bridge to the WTC site. There were sooooo many runners at this event. I think Guiliani said over 20,000! This time I did catch him on his run. Aww, isn't he cute?
Gooooo DADDY-O GOOOO!!! That is the WTC Site behind him. :*(

We stayed around for the tribute to fallen firefighters and for the small street fair after. Mike (BIL), Annette (SIL), and their clan (Michael, Caitlyn and Meghan) joined us as did Pauric, Majella and Fionn.
Fionn says, get this chick outta my PRAM - lol

Daddy and Ella at the finish line!!

Pat, Ella, Majella, Eva, Fionn, Pauric and Mike

What a great day for it too!! Here are some pics of our fun. Michael got his face painted.Obviously... he was SpiderMan!! The cutest one around :)
Caitlyn took the pass.. but she is too cute anyway!!
As are Eva (who blinked) and Meghan! (6 weeks apart)
I cant believe Ella did it this time. She usually freaks out.
Finished Product!!
She was so tired though.
All in all, it was a fantastic day!! Too bad Pat had to work tonight :(

I love my family!!!

Catch Up Part II

So, after SC we went off to Mass to see Ryan for his 12th birthday. Yes, that is right... I have a TWELVE year old son! I know, I cant believe it either. He has just grown up so wonderfully... considering LOL. And handsome!! I know he is mine and all, but this kid is going to be busting up some hearts soon. I think for the 13th birthday I should get him a vasectomy. HAHA... :) I mean LOOK at him!!
He had a soccer game that day too, which he really has come in to in the last few years. I love watching his games, except for the psycho parents screaming off the sides. Nutjobs!!
We went to 99 for his bday dinner with all mine and Pat's families. Ryan loves this small family party the best. We had a great time!!

We also hit up The Big E the next day. It was fun, but we didnt get to see the whole fair, but made sure we got Ella on some rides. Then, back home to NYC!

Catch up!

Ok, so I haven't been back in awhile.. which is par for the course. I am going to have to play catch up here!!!

So, last time I was here I was getting ready to go to South Carolina. Well after a rocky start, Tara and I and 4 kids under 3, piled in her Quest and set off on the 13 hour drive to Hilton Head SC! The ride was ... well, the ride was... A FUCKING NIGHTMARE, to put it ever so lightly. Eva was good, just a stop every few hours for a feed. Ella was really good too!!

It was sooo great to see Angelique!!! (even if we did get there at 3AM - lol) I knew I had missed her over this year and a half, but I didnt realize how much until we were there. Avery has gotten so big and such a beauty! Cole has to be the best baby I have seen. This kid never cries. NEVER!!! His legs are scrumptious. He is a BIG boy... and nothing but adorable!! Tommy we didnt see much, but he is handsome as ever. Angelique and Tom were awesome hosts. We went to A's parents pool. They have some land purchsed with no house on it yet, but the pool is up and running. We got to meet some of the moms A's friends and their children as well. What a beautiful place. We went to dinner with A&T and some of their friends. Everyone was so nice! The next day we went to the pool again and had some shrimp boil (yea its a southern thing lol) that night for dinner. We ended up cutting our trip short cause Tara had to get home (@@). I probably should have flown home like I had suggested... but ended up coming back on NIGHTMARE RIDE Part II. Here are some pics!

Here is Cole and Eva taking a nap at the pool!

Avery and Ella playing in the squirt park.

Waiting for dinner...

Making beautiful pics!! Ella, Avery & Gavin

Splish splashin in the pool!!

Saying goodbye :( See you in NYC next month Avery!!!

Ok, gotta feed the kids. Next Catch Up Post.. BigE and Mass Weekend :)

Here goes!

I should be packing for my 13 hour drive to South Carolina to see Angelique, but I'm sitting here online like I have nothing else in the world to do!! I just settled Eva down for what I am hoping is a good nap. I should join her in that too. Ella is at daycare today. Is it a bad thing, that somedays... I am relieved to see her go? Getting into the routine with 2, 2 and under is harder than I thought. I give stay at home moms some serious credit. It will be interesting to see Pat do this when I go back to work in late November. Holy crap, I dont have to work until LATE November? THAT is a blessing in itself. Now, as soon as I get this little nugget on some kind of schedule, we will really be in business.

Ok, thats it for now. I dont know how well I am going to do at this blogging thing. But I might as well make a go at it!! I need to get the clean laundry out and start packing. Toodles...
